Meet Our Founders Pastor Stephen and Sarah Kaweesa
The late Pr.Stephen Kaweesa at the age of 16 was called to serve the Lord in the Pentecostal Church of Yesu Akwagala. He was one of the founders of what was initially known as born again churches in 1991 and supported in setting up over 200 churches in Uganda.
In 2013, along with Pastor Robert Kasozi, the lead pastor at Kawempe Worship Centre, Yesu akwagala, he started the Yesu Akwagala church in Kawempe where he ministered for 10 years.
Surrounded by smart, passionate people and with the best tools and approaches at your disposal, Kawempe Worship Centre has grown and reached over 1000 people in the community.

Because of the reach in the Kawempe community, we built an extension of the Kawempe Worship Centre, Yesu Akwagala centaury planted in 2018.
We Are Building
There are 1000 members in our community have reached, over 300 families impacted and over 600 youth transformed!
We are excited to be apart of what God is doing through us serve this and neighboring communities especially at such at a time at this. We are growing!
